Our Ministries
Making Christ Known
We serve our Mission through many different areas of ministry: Worship, Education, Service, Fellowship, Leadership, Outreach, Youth, and more. We strive in all ways to learn more about Jesus, to follow a little closer, and to act out his command to love one another - and the world - following his example. Come join us for any and all of these ministries - you are welcome and would be loved.
Worship
At Holy Trinity our worship evokes the Spirit through the ages: the silence of the early catacombs, the form and structure and beautiful spaces of the baroque, the evocative lines of Gregorian chant and the passion of modern spirituality and music, always experiencing the spirits, and discovering God finding us.
Worship forms the core of our discipleship: spending time with God, to learn, grow, respond, develop, and be strengthened before heading out into the world for the week. We worship in an energized traditional style: using liturgy to enhance our experience of the Spirit, always looking for new music, ritual, and symbols to deepen our understanding of God, incorporating challenge and comfort side-by-side in our worship life together. Our worship is approachable and friendly: we project our services and have large-print bulletins available as well. Join us in praising God and experiencing his presence to fill us for the week!
Hospitality
Our ministries of Hospitality are the entry point for the world into our community: it is where we answer the Biblical mandate of welcoming all people. Hospitality is one of our passions and privileges at Holy Trinity: we delight in meeting new people and surrounding them with our love and welcome. Join us in reaching out to the world with friendly smiles and an open embrace!
Fellowship
In the book of Acts, Luke records that the earliest church in Jerusalem experienced profound fellowship: Day by day, as they spent much time together in the temple, they broke bread at home and ate their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having the goodwill of all the people. And day by day the Lord added to their number those who were being saved (2:46-7). It is in fellowship that we strengthen, encourage, and enjoy each other - and learn about the Lord at the same time.
Our Fellowship ministries range from informal small-groups to activity groups to quilters, knitters, and pray-ers. We have fellowship ministries for young families, women, men, older adults, and all of the above. We would love to have you join us and come to know God together with us in fellowship and friendship!

Service
Our ministries of Service answer Christ's call to "love one another" as he loved us - selflessly, honestly, and fully. We Make Christ Known by serving through word and action, with our time, gifts, and resources. And as we do, we inevitably discover joy in the Spirit.
We serve one another and the world through these areas and more:

Children/Youth/Families
If there's one thing immediately obvious at Holy Trinity, it is this: we love having kids in our community! We put a lot of attention and effort into growing with them into faith, and love everything about it: the questions, the smiles, the tears, the wiggles, the energy. You'll find opportunities for kids of all ages: from the nursery to high school and beyond. We like to say that our kids are not the Church of tomorrow, they are the Church today. If you have kids, there is much here to help them grow in faith. And if working with kids energizes you, you'll find plenty of chances to plug in.
Discipleship & Education
- Bible Studies with Pastor Tim
- Adult forum (Sundays) with Pastor Snyder
- Confirmation (7th & 8th grade)
Caring
Holy Trinity takes its ministry of caring very seriously: we are a Stephen Ministry congregation, which is a ministry of highly trained, committed lay visitors. Along with our called Pastor, we have begun a Parish Nurse program and have a Visitation Pastor, all to ensure that our members and the wider community are cared for in Jesus' name. Plus, our congregation volunteers its time and energy caring for each other through our Service Volunteers program. Holy Trinity is most definitely a caring congregation!

Prayer
We at Holy Trinity are proud to be a praying congregation. From worship to meetings to our Prayer Chain to our individual members, we hold each other, the community, and the world in prayer. Every fourth Sunday is our “Prayers of the Cross” Sunday, where we take the opportunity to put prayer requests in writing, and commit to taking each others’ requests and holding them in prayer for the week.
Outreach / Evangelism
This is an exciting time to be the Church! Did you know that right now, Africa sends missionaries to the United States? Our community is a mission field: more people around us are unchurched or underchurched than not. The Holy Spirit has given us a great responsibility and privilege to reach out and Make Christ Known! We answer that call at Holy Trinity in many ways:
- Servant evangelism
- Church sign ministry
- Swing Dance Outreach
- Pre-School Storytime
- Vacation Bible School
- Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper
- Trunk-or-Treat
